The Video Process from Concept to Publication, Aug 20Want to make a video but donâ€™t know how? Donâ€™t worry, your name doesnâ€™t need to be Spielberg!
On August 20, the Technical Editing SIG and the Santa Barbara STC Chapter will host a joint event: Video Production â€” From Concept to Publication with Ken Cicero, a Senior Video Producer at Microsoft. In this webinar, Ken will walk us through three types of videos â€“ live action, screen capture, and animation â€” each with its own specific tools and purposes.
This will be an interactive session, so bring your comments, stories, and questions!

2016 Summit Technical Editing ProgressionThe TE SIG leadership team asks for your help to make a technical editing progression session a reality for the 2016 Summit.
Specifically, we are requesting our membership and those interested in editing submit requests to the STC Summit Education Committee to present a technical editing progression topic. The Committee has final approval on the topics.
Deadline for submissions: Per the STC website â€œDue August/late summer.â€ A specific date will be posted on the STC website.
