  • Think about the topic and prepare a few questions or comments to discuss.
  • Be ready to participate in the live chat, rather than just "listen."

Carol Lamarche is a seasoned technical communicator and sports enthusiast who grew up running the trails of the Gatineau Park. She enjoys discovering fun ways to challenge herself, and attain PBs. For years she has trained with the STC, Toastmasters, meditation groups, and athletic teams. Carol has served as a leader of the Technical Editing SIG for several years: earlier, as programs manager, she spearheaded the award-winning Watercooler Chat series; now, as SIG co-manager, she helps make the SIG a go-to place for people interested in technical editing. Carol is the principal of the newly launched Healing Tree Communications, whose vision is to provide a range of innovative communication services in the fields of health care and medicine.
